Oh my gosh! This place is amazing on so many levels. The woman at the counter was so patient and friendly. All the tables were clean but they still wiped it down fresh for me. The server who brought the food was lovely as well. As soon as she dropped the food at my table, she said she would be back in 3 minutes to ask about my satisfaction for the chef. They are playing NPR Tiny Desk with Alicia Keys. Atmosphere is amazing. Now the food- wow. So delicious and fresh. The sauce on it is soooo good. I got extra :) Fries are perfect- crispy and seasoned. I will be coming here every day while on vacation. Such a hidden gem! Make time to stop here. You will be so happy.

I have been dreaming about pasta from Our People's so today I had to make that dream come true and they did not disappoint!!! This is one of the only places that I will get pasta every time I come. Food is made fresh so please be patient. My wait time was less than 20 minutes and that was good! Honestly it's the type of meal that I want to sit in the car to eat so I won't have to share!!!!

Food was smackin I want to go back for their pasta menu which is separate and starts everyday @ 1330. Well worth the drive

The customer service was excellent and on point. My food was very good and full of flavor. Our waitress and hostess were very accommodating. The atmosphere was really great with the music as well.

They need a bigger place and parking lot!!! This was hands down the closest flavor to being in South Louisiana, without being in South Louisiana! I had the crawfish pasta and had to hold my self back from licking the plate clean! If you ain't been here you need to stop by A.S.A.P. *and apparently they got Adult beverages coming soon!* 10 out of 10 Can't wait to come again!

Hubby and I have been hearing about this place for years. We finally made it to give it a try. The wait time for food is 30 minutes or more but we didn't mind as long as our food is fresh. We ordered the seafood platter which came with fish, shrimp, clam strips, crab balls, coleslaw hush puppies and old bay fries. We also got fried okra and a sausage pasta to go with has chicken and shrimp in it also. Everything was fresh and hot. The seafood platter the food was not really seasoned like we expected but some hot sauce and tartar sauce mix helped it out. The okra was not seasoned really either but it was cooked perfectly. Now babee that sausage pasta was perfect everything seasoned and cooked perfectly. The restaurant is not very big but it can accommodate a party. The staff was all nice and very helpful kept checking on us to make sure we were good . We will definitely try this spot out again.

Absolutely amazing meal. Believe the reviews and make time to stop by this place when you're in Norfolk. Every dish was delicious but serious shoutout to the Salmon and Shrimp Cheesesteak and maybe the best Greens we've ever had. You can tell they spend a lot of time and care on everything they serve. The entire staff is great and it's a wonderful , comfortable atmosphere.

This food is REALLY good. I ordered two items, the crab cake shrimp BLT and the crawfish shrimp lobster penna pasta. Weighing at over a pound of pasta and goodies (probably two pounds) you definitely get your money's worth. The penne is good, the sauce is rich creamy and tasty, and all the seafood is just perfect. If I had to eat this once a day, I would be okay with it. The BLT was just decedant. All that great seafood AND bacon. If you don't like that, then you get one stars, yourself. I love this sandwich. I loved the truffle fries that comes with it. That's a nice touch. This is down home food for sure but cooked in a high quality way. You can tell there is a lot of love pit into it, and great to see a hit place to eat locally. I'm excited to try the other dishes. Well done.
